Vancouver Park Board Endowment Fund

Leaving a legacy for future generations, the Andrew and Crystal Johns Park Conservation Endowment provides necessary funding to preserve the beauty of city parks and promote accessibility to public recreation programs throughout Vancouver. Generously matching every dollar contributed, the Vancouver Park Board has recognized Andrew and Crystal’s help by dedicating a park bench along the seawall in their honour.

Since the establishment of the Andrew and Crystal Johns Park Conservation Endowment in 2009, residents and visitors of Vancouver alike will benefit in the areas of:

• Promotion of an healthy and active community
• Preservation of urban parks for future generations
• Protecting environmentally sensitive areas and species at risk
• Promoting accessibility to nature and green spaces throughout the city with the vision of The Greenest City 2020
